Jet Reports International Expands Into the Asian Region

May 1, 2006 – Singapore – Jet Reports International, Inc., an international software author of Excel Reporting Tools, announced the opening of their Asian distributorship based in Singapore.  Jet Reports is an award winning Excel-based reporting tool which allows users to take data out of their financial or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and create reports, analysis and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) type scorecards and dashboards using normal Excel functionality.

Jet Reports has a large install base in North America and Europe—over 20,000 users.  It is especially popular in the Microsoft Dynamics product line, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly Navision), Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains), and Microsoft Dynamics AX (formerly Axapta). In certain markets segments, Jet Reports is present in over 50% of the Navision user base.  This has allowed Jet Reports to achieve Microsoft GOLD Certified status as well as achieve the acclaimed Microsoft President’s Club.

William Briggs, CEO of Jet Reports International, comments on the new office:  “We are very excited to be able to support local Asian companies from our Singapore office.  We have been doing business in Asia for a number of years and this is the next strategic step for us to be closer to our customers and partners.” Briggs continued, “The infrastructure and talent pool in Singapore makes it a natural place for a global software company to position their Asian Headquarters and places us in close proximity to our partner, Microsoft who also bases their Asian operations here.”

Jet Reports works with any type of Accounting, Financial, ERP, Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), or other type of standard business software and allows users to pull that data into Excel for very easy reporting.

Michael Anderson and Lynton Torode will be the Executive Directors for this organization.  Mr. Anderson, who has held Regional Director positions for multi-national software companies in the USA, Europe, and Asia, comments, “Most companies have Excel, most companies have an ERP or accounting system, but most companies can’t get the data from the system to the users.  Finally, Jet Reports, which is competitively priced and very easy to use, bridges that gap.”

Mr. Torode,  a CPA who has spent over 10 years in  Asia and  over  20 years as a CFO and Executive Director in Asian based multi-national companies says, “After sitting in a CFO’s seat I know the type of financial, inventory, sales and cash-flow information I always wanted to see and was so hard to get.  Now, with Jet Reports we can finally get the information that is buried in accounting software packages into Excel where accounting staff of all levels can report, analyze, reconcile and present that information.”

Jet Reports provides Excel-based reporting software to customers around the world. Jet Reports currently has over 20,000 users worldwide in a wide range of verticals spanning sports teams, publishing, manufacturing, not-for-profit among many others. Jet Reports works with Microsoft Dynamics business applications integrating Excel with Dynamics and other Enterprise Resource Planning systems for reporting purposes. Jet Reports was developed in 2001 and employs 45 people. Jet Reports headquarters are located in Portland, Oregon. For more information please visit our website at www.jetreports.com.
