Who are Jet Certified Trainers?
Jet Reports Certified Trainers not only have all of the expertise of Jet Certified Professionals, but they also have passion and skill for teaching in a professional environment. JCT candidates must balance their passion with a proven track record for being a leader in effective knowledge transfer of technology solutions. We recommend Jet Certified Trainers to work with our clients directly and we support them with the training materials we develop in-house. Jet Certified Trainers are the face of our product, so it’s important that they are the most highly qualified and dedicated individuals out there!
How to become a JCT
There are several steps to becoming a Jet Certified trainer:
- Pass the JCS and JCP exams to prove your thorough knowledge of the Jet Reports product.
- Send your training credentials to certification@jetreports.com. The more information you can provide, the better (This should include several of the following: Resume, history of training experience, other training certificates (i.e. MCT or CompTIA), letters of recommendation, positive training evaluations, etc…).
- Find a current JCT to act as your sponsor. They will need to send us a written recommendation explaining their affiliation with you and agreeing to be your sponsor.
What is a JCT Sponsor?
A JCT sponsor vouches for a new JCT candidate. The sponsoring JCT’s status and reputation will rest on their own actions as well as the actions of those that they sponsor. This means that the sponsor bears the responsibility for making sure they are sponsoring only top quality individuals. The sponsor is our main link to the candidate’s real world experience and we put a lot of trust in the sponsoring JCT.
Thinking about sponsoring a JCT?
If you agree to be the sponsor for a new JCT, you are vouching for all of their activities as a Jet Certified Trainer, forever! The act of sponsorship comes with great responsibility, so do not take this lightly. Consistent negative feedback about a JCT will result in actions taken against both the offending JCT as well as their sponsor. Depending on the severity and recurrence of the offenses, these actions may include suspension of your ability to act as a sponsor and/or the suspension of your JCT Credentials.
To sponsor a JCT, send us a written recommendation explaining your relevant first-hand experience with the candidate and agreeing to be their sponsor. Please send this communication to certification@jetreports.com.
